Our journey to Waymaker Builders was not a straight path.  For over 30 years we made our home in Northwest Houston, experiencing both the best and the worst of new home construction in that region.  When we finally decided it was time for a change, we explored options in coastal Carolina, Florida, and beyond. Ultimately, we chose to return to the Tyler area.  With so many new builds underway, we even watched my parents’ home being constructed by another builder. While that experience wasn’t unpleasant, we had very specific ideas about what we wanted in our own home.

It exceeded every expectation.

Now, eight months later, we couldn’t be happier with our decision. We’ve gotten to know Shawn and Lauren and beyond their incredible skill, we’ve found they are simply wonderful people.  Every question we’ve had has been met with immediate, thoughtful responses that consistently go above and beyond our expectations.
